PT. Tata Hamparan
Eka Persada (THEP) which is engaged in Palm Oil Plantation and Processing was
established in 1995 which is located in the Province of the Bangka Belitung
Islands, Indonesia with the initial status of Domestic Investment (PMDN).
In 2007, ST. International a company located in South Korea conducted a Joint Venture with the
Tradition Group to build THEP. In 2008, until now the status of THEP changed to
Foreign Investment (PMA) based on the approval letter from the Investment
Coordinating Board number 27/V/PMA/2008.
The presence of THEP has a positive impact on economic progress and community welfare, especially in the Bangka Regency and West Bangka Regency because THEP is committed to increasing economic growth by opening up employment opportunities, empowering local communities, improving infrastructure and taking an active role in social activities with Corporate programs. Measurable and structured Social Responsibility (CSR).
THEP fully supports the commitment to environmental sustainability by implementing a sustainable pattern of oil palm plantations, supporting programs for preserving the natural environment and biodiversity, implementing new land clearing practices without burning (zero burning) and utilizing waste (zero waste). THEP applies work standards according to the rules of Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) and has received ISPO certification in 2017.
